I recently stayed at a hotel near the airport for a stopover during my trip to Sri Lanka, and I was pleasantly surprised by the Leaf On Lagoon - Family Restaurant And Transit Hotel. the location was fantastic, being extremely close to the airport which made it convenient for my journey. Additionally, the hotel is set back from the main road, offering a peaceful atmosphere with a lovely view of the lagoon. Moreover, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with a good shower that provided a refreshing experience after a long day of travel. Lastly, the hotel's restaurant served delicious breakfast options to start the day off right.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was excellent and I have no complaints.

The location of the hotel was really great, very close to the airport which made it very convenient for us as we were on a short trip. the hotel was situated near a lagoon which gave us a beautiful view from our room. the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, they guided us about the nearby places to visit and helped us arrange transportation.

the room was not properly cleaned and the bathroom was not up to the mark.

The hotel offers a lake view which is good for nature lovers. The staff were friendly and willing to help with directions. The rooms are spacious with comfortable bedding.

The location is quite far and not easily accessible from the airport, making it difficult to reach and a potential overcharge with taxi fares. There were problems with room cleanliness with food residue left on the tables and an inability to lock the doors.
